For that we offer individual components to customize your rig to fit your needs. Using the industry standard 15mm rod system, the Raised Offset Rail-block raises your setup 20mm and puts it 60mm to the side, this puts the viewfinder and camera at eye level. Shooters find that having the LCD at eye level is essential when using a LCD loupe like the Z-Finder or the DigiFinder. The Raised Offset Rail-Block is thicker and sturdier than before, and machined from tough and lightweight aluminum to help users build a strong and ridged camera rig, while keeping its overall weight light as possible. Jag35 has been improving the manufacturing and overall design of our products, and the Offsets are no exception.

We’ve improved the machining to give our products a smoother surface and chamfered edges, making the rail-blocks work more cohesively with any brand rods that conform to the standard 15mm system. Also, our knobs have been machined to tighten harder, making your rig more ridged and reducing the risk of rail-blocks slipping and scratching or damaging rods.We know that maintaining a professional appearance is also important to users, so we've upgraded the way we anodize our products, giving them a shinier more longer lasting finish and a more even and consistent color, Even the decals we use have been changed to prevent them from coming off, all to ensure that your rig maintains a sleek professional look, even when working in the harshest environments.

Note: we do not recommend using the Raised Offset Rail-block if you’re using a Battery Grip on your camera or if you’re using a Canon 1D MKII, as your camera will already be higher. For this we recommend the Jag35 Straight Offset Rail-block, without the rise.
