V-R171X-IMD-HDSDI-DT 17" Desktop Monitor with HDSDI/SDI and IMD

With a wide viewing angle of 140 (L/R) x 120° (U/D), the monitor allows you to view the images clearly even from room corners or when the display is mounted at a height. It has a TFT-MegaPixel active matrix LCD panel and a single HDSDI/SDI (high definition serial digital interface) input with active loop-through functionality.

In pixel-to-pixel mode, the V-R171X-IMD-HDSDI-DT LCD monitor displays images in their native resolution by avoiding the internal scaling function. In-monitor display enables on-screen text and tally indication, which can be controlled locally or remotely via support for protocols like SL, NVISION, Image Video, and MEI (Marshall Electronics) tally control systems. The LCD monitor features RotoMenu for quick, direct, and easy menu navigation.

The Blue only mode switches off red and green scan guns to produce an image made only from a blue scan gun, and the monochrome mode displays a grayscale picture by disabling all colors. With flexible screen markers, you can precisely monitor different aspect ratios in 16:9 and 4:3 modes.

The aspect ratio settings allow for switching between full screen, 4:3, and 16:3 aspect ratios. With the audio monitor feature, the monitor allows you to enable or disable the audio presence indicator icon. The enabled state indicates the presence of an embedded audio, and the disable state is indicated by the red circle and cross.

Featured De-interlacer mode sets the type of de-interlacing algorithm used. The De-interlacer mode incorporates Auto mode, Motion Adaptive mode, Field to Frame mode, Interpolate (Bob) mode, and Static Mesh (Weave) mode. In addition, the film mode makes use of special algorithms to properly de-interlace 24 fps and 25 fps video signals. Motion display mode visualizes how the de-interlacer detects the motion in picture and displays inter-field motion as false color (green).

Multi-configurable OSD (on-screen display) allows you to display the embedded video time code and an embedded audio presence indicator on the screen. Two user-programmable buttons (F1, F2) provide fast access to various settings and functions such as Marker, Center Marker, Marker Backgrd, IMD, Time Code, OSD Tally, Audio Monitor, Aspect Ratio, Pixel to Pixel, Ctemp/Gamma, Blue Only, and Monochrome. In addition, the LCD monitor features 3-color on-screen soft tally indicators and 3 LED color tally indicators (Red / Green / Amber).

The V-R171X-IMD-HDSDI-DT LCD monitor supports RS-422 / 485 interface, and firmware upgrade feature via the RS-422 / 485 port. In addition, the monitor can be mounted on a wall or a ceiling with an optional VESA adaptor.
