The LCD panels are in the 16:9 aspect ratio common in HDTV and high end SDTV video. They will also display conventional 4:3 video when fed those signals. This pair of monitors can display all HD formats through HD-SDI connectors. Other HD and SD connections are also supported. The full spectrum of features and functions make this product valuable in the most sophisticated production facilities.

The V-R72P-2HD has twin wide-screen LCD panels that will display most any HDTV and standard definition video signal. It has a BNC connector for HD-SDI and SD-SDI. It can decode any format of HD signal. It also supports 3-BNC component in both HD and SD. More standard video is like composite and S-video signals can be fed also.

The monitors use the latest TFT technology for wide viewing angles and consistent colors. The panels have a 400:1 contrast ratio and a quick response rate for smooth motion reproduction.

Marshall Electronics builds their LCD products for professional applications and convenient, user friendly operation. In addition to wide viewing angles both horizontally and vertically, the rack mounts all have a tilting feature that gives access to rear panel connectors without having to crawl behind a rack unit. Three colored tally indicators makes this unit great for a director's location on a live production set. Most analog and digital standards are supported including NTSC and PAL systems. In HDTV settings the monitors can scale any format to be displayed on the 1.2 megapixel LCD widescreen panels.
